RPCO 2 TEAM CONDUCTS OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE AUDIT TO COMPLETED SUBPROJECTS IN ISABELA

Date Published: August 19, 2020

The Regional Operations and Maintenance Audit Team (ROMAT) will visit the completed PRDP funded subprojects in Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino Province after it has assessed the warehouses and water impounding projects in Isabela.

Due to the mainstreaming of the good practice brought by the PRDP, the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Division (PMED) of DA RFO 2 will spearhead the conduct of the aforementioned activities.

Ms. Kay Olivas, PMED Chief said that part of the Implementation Management Agreement (IMA) between the LGU and DA is the operations and maintenance of the subprojects, and thus the creation of Regional Operations and Maintenance Audit Team (ROMAT).

To assess what has been stipulated in the IMA, there are checklists for farm-to-market roads, warehouses for I-REAP subprojects and small water impounding projects broken down into physical, financial and social aspects.

The team has visited Alinam warehouse in Cauayan City, and small water impounding projects or swip in Quezon, Roxas, Tumauini, and Cordon, Isabela. It has also assessed Dairy Carabao Enterprise in San Agustin and Isabela Dairy Enterprise in Mallig.

All completed subprojects will be visited by August this year. (Ferdinand N Cortez, RPCO2 InfoACE Unit)
