(PRDP-MIN PSO) INVITATION TO BID PROCUREMENT OF SECURITY SERVICES [closing date March 23, 2015 at 10:00am]

The Government of the Philippines (GoP) has received a Loan from the World Bank towards the cost of the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Loan to payments under the contract for the Procurement of Security Services for the PRDP-Project Support Office at the Alvarez Building, Ruby St., Mamay Road, Angliongto Sr. Avenue, Lanang, Davao City and on the adjacent PRDP Motor Pool.

The PRDP is a six-year (2014-2020) initiative of the government envisioned to increase farm and fishery productivity and incomes in target areas in all 16 regions of the country. The program seeks to achieve this objective by improving access of farmers and other industry players to a strategic network of infrastructure, market information and support services.

The contractor shall provide and make available to the PRDP-PSO on a day shift-night shift scheme of eight (8) hours per shift, an initial force of Six (6) security guards.

The Department of Agriculture now invites eligible security agencies to indicate their interest in providing the Security Services. The period of engagement will take a maximum of three (3) years contract.

Interested agencies must provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualification and relevant experience to perform the services (Company Profile, Business Permits, License to Operate, DOLE 18-a3 Certification/Clearance, Remittances from SSS, Pag-ibig and Philhealth, PhilGEPS Registration Certificate, BIR Tax Clearance and Bank Statements).

A firm will be selected using Non-Consulting Services method as set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011.
