PRDP-IREAP3 holds training on business operations and management

Grace Crown, ANGELES CITY – In line with promoting capability building and lifting values formation, the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) under the I-REAP component conducted a 3-day business operations and management training held at Grace Crown, Balibago, Angeles City.

The training was led by Training Facilitator Hector T. Villegas who facilitated various activities that increase motivation and morale among the participants.

Villegas said that the training seeks to initiate camaraderie and coordination among participants adding that it also increases capacity to adopt to new methods and innovations.

The three day seminar started from June 26, Wednesday until June 28, Friday was attended by various cooperative members from Region 3.

According to Business Development Officer Carissa Padilla Cabubus the training aims to impart the principles of operational management to increase personality development adding that different behavioral dimensions have significant effect in achieving organizational effectiveness and project success.

Among the participants were Sapang Balawe Producers Cooperative, Natural Farming Cooperative, Dueg Upland Farmers Marketing Cooperative, Carranglan Provincial Project Monitoring and Implementing Unit ( PPMIU), Carranglan Rural Finance Credit Cooperative, Gawad Serbisyo ng Mamamayan ng Barangay Public Service Cooperative, San Ildefonso Vegetable & Palay MPC, Umpucan Palay & Vegetables Farm MPC, and Hagonoy Fish Farmers Producers Cooperatives.
