Lambaklad livelihood project receives hauling vehicle under the ‘KADIWA ni Ani at Kita’
The Lambaklad Livelihood Project in Libertad, Antique is pacing itself as one of the sustainable implemented enterprises under the I-REAP Component in Region 6 as evident on the growing numbers in its membership and income.
With this in consideration, the lead proponent group (Taboc Fisherfolks Association) of the aforementioned microenterprise has become the recipient of a hauling vehicle as Marketing Logistic Support for Inclusive Supply Chain under Bayanihan Act II Fund Support of Market Development Services (MDS). The ceremonial turnover was held in Brgy. Taboc, Libertad, Antique on April 19, 2022.
The association’s exemplary performance in managing the operations of the DA-PRDP subproject is credited to their president, Riza D. Sioco along with its 131 members.
Additional support was granted to the association that complements the enterprise. In the first quarter of the year, the TAFA was given a Food Terminal/Talipapa amounting to P300,000 along with the recently granted one unit hauling vehicle amounting to P1,000,000 through the KADIWA program.
With the concerted efforts of the DA, provincial, municipal, and barangay LGUs, the turnover ceremony of the new intervention was held. The event was led by DA-RFO 6 Regional Executive Director and DA-PRDP PSO Visayas Project Director Remelyn R. Recoter and is joined by RPCO 6 I-REAP Component Head May Ann Grajo and staff.
Likewise, key officials from the Provincial Project Management and Implementing Unit (PPMIU) headed by Juliana Cepe; Provincial Planning Development Office (PPDO) Coordinator/ PPMIU Head Nicolasito Calawag; Provincial Agriculturist/I-REAP Component Head Engr.
