PRDP PSO, RPCO 3 CONDUCT JOINT INSPECTION OF P172-M FMR IN BATAAN
Bagac, BATAAN – The Philippine Rural Development Project – Project Support Office (PRDP – PSO) together with the Regional Project Coordination Office (RPCO 3) conducted recently a joint inspection of the P172 million San Antonio-Parang-Saysain Farm-to-Market road (FMR), here.
Joining the inspection team are the Provincial Project Management and Implementing Unit (PPMIU) of Bataan and the contractor of the project, 4B Construction Corporation.
The said inspection aims to evaluate the accomplishment of the subproject likewise to facilitate its disbursement.
According to Rural Infrastructure Engineer Romel G. Tiangco, the subproject currently has 90% progress accomplishment and is 10.49% billable for the 10th progress billing.
Engr. Tiangco added that the 15.031-kilometer FMR is seen to benefit a total of 9,752 residents and 2,043 households in Bagac.
Sweet potato is one of the staple commodities in the area similarly the planting of other crops such as rice, potato, corn and coconut.
With the active monitoring of PRDP I-BUILD Component, the FMR is expected to be completed by November 12 of this year. (Ma. Reina Len Luna, RPCO3 InfoACE)
