HULO-MALAYA-DOLORES FMR REACHES FAR-FLUNG AREAS IN NUEVA ECIJA
Sto. Domingo, NUEVA ECIJA – About 1,642 households will soon enjoy greater economic opportunities upon the completion of the Hulo-Malaya-Dolores farm-to-market road (FMR), here.
The substantially completed FMR has a length of 3.183 kilometers with total cost amounting to P28.6 million.
According to I-BUILD Rural Infrastructure Engineer Lester Bacual, the FMR traverses the farm areas of Barangay Hulo, Malaya and Dolores that is expected to provide access to social services which help boosts inclusive development in far-off areas in the province.
Funded under the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP), the FMR is expected to bring about
growth and progress in the countryside by paving more opportunities to farmer-beneficiaries.
In just a year, two FMRs in Nueva Ecija are set to be completed including the San Felipe – San Nicolas via A. Bonifacio Norte in the municipality of Llanera that spans 6.218 kilometers. (Ma. Reina Len Luna, RPCO3 InfoACE)
