PRDP I-REAP Component facilitated a seminar in Business Management cum Values Formation in Angeles, Pampanga from July 25-27, 2018.

Representatives from the cooperatives Maria Aurora Development Cooperative of Aurora, Balaong Vegetable Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative and Bulusukan Farmers Palay and Vegetable Producers Cooperative of Bulacan, San Marcelino Corn Producers Cooperative and Sta. Cruz Mango Growers Multipurpose Cooperative of Zambales, and their respect PLGUs were the participants of the seminar-worshop.

The seminar-workshop aims to impart the principles of Operational Management and Values Formation to bring about personality development with regard to different behavioral dimensions that have far reaching significance in the direction of organizational effectiveness and project success; improve the work ethics in the implementation of the project and formulate a working system on each segment of the project implementation.

Lectures on Core Operations, Management Keys, and Values Development are some of the topics discussed with the attendees by Hector Villegas Jr.

Villegas is an Organizational Development, Human Resource Development and Community Learning Facilitator.

The participants were also coached on proper posture, tone of voice, and eye contact when speaking or presenting. These information can be useful to the participants especially when presenting business proposals to potential investors.

Group and individual written exercises are also conducted for each topic to assure that the attendees fully understand the topics presented. After the written activities attendees are also asked to present their work.

Another batch of attendees from the province of Tarlac will also undergo the same seminar in August 8-10, 2018. (Kayla Lingad, RPCO3 InfoACE)
