5.7-M beef cattle breeder farm to operate in Zambales

San Marcelino, ZAMBALES – A P5.7 million beef cattle breeder will operate soon, here.

This, as the contractor of the subproject, Engineer Casipit, expressed his optimism to finish the construction of the breeder farm this coming August 25 of this year.

Recently, the I-BUILD Rural Infrastructure Engineers (RIEs) together with the Social and Environmental Officers, Geographic Information System (GIS) Data Officers and the Provincial Project Management and Implementing Unit (PPMIU) of Zambales conducted a site visit to the ongoing construction of the beef cattle breeder farm.

With the establishment of the breeder farm, it is a way to encourage sustainable beef cattle farming ensuring safe and high-quality agricultural products whereas improving the socio-economic condition of beef cattle farmers and maintaining the health and welfare of all farmed species.

The breeder farm is a project development funded by the World Bank through the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) I-REAP Component under the civil work supervision of the I-BUILD Component.
