PRDP I-REAP CONDUCTS BUSINESS PLAN PREPARATION AND WORKSHOP FOR 2020 SUBPROJECTS

Angeles City, PAMPANGA – The Philippine Rural Development Project under the I-REAP Component conducted recently a four-day business plan preparation workshop from July 23 to July 26, 2019, held at Grace Crown Hotel, here.

The four-day workshop comprises of presentation of business plan outline, business model conceptualization, critiquing of the business plan and an open forum for arising queries.

I-REAP Component Head Fernando Lorenzo warmly welcomed the delegates and participants from Nueva Ecija and Bulacan.

“I hope you learn from this workshop and may you learn something you can use in your future businesses,” Lorenzo said.

Among the presenters for the process and guidelines of each component includes I-PLAN Component Head Dr. Arthur Dayrit, I-REAP Business Development Officer Carissa Cabubus and I-BUILD Rural Infrastructure Engineer Jun Clinton Gonzales.

Meanwhile, Social and Environment Safeguard (SES) Officer Jes Surla together with Geomapping and Governance Unit (GGU) Officer Maurice Pineda, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer Maria Cristina Domenden and Economist Frederick Godoy presented the guidelines and requirements of their respective units.

The workshop aims to come up with a viable business plan that meets the process and requirements that are set to be approved by the board.

Also present during the workshop are RPCO 3 Action Officer Gil G. David, SES Unit Head Arleen Torres and I-PLAN Tech staff Noli Sambo.
