RPCO9 gathers Partner LGUs in a year end coordination meeting
RPCO9 called for a 4th coordination meeting with partner Provincial, City and Municipal Project Management and Implementation Units (P/C/MPIUs) across Zamboanga Peninsula Region held in Zamboanga City recently.
As the year 2022 is about to end, Regional Project Director Dennis Arpia, in his opening remarks, reminded the LGUs with unfinished subprojects to push for its completion. stressed.
The meeting was aimed at presenting the accomplishments, tackling issues and concerns contributiing to the impending completion of some subprojects both of I-BUILD and I-REAP and discussed the recommendations and ways forward through breakout sessions. The IPLAN component and SES had separate sessions as well.
NPCO I-REAP Alternate Head Lennie Pecson joined the discussion with the I-REAP component who was excited to hear the sharing of experiences from the different LGUs.
Meanwhile, after hearing the reports of each group and entertained queries during the open forum, Deputy Project Director Reynaldo closed meeting, saying: “at least we leveled off our accomplishments; we agreed on the problems that we faced in our respective subprojects and we come up with recommended solutions on how we can properly address the pressing issues at the local level. When we come home, we will be bringing these solutions for the betterment of the implementation our subprojects.
Further, he said: “for I-REAP subprojects, we do not stop until the money is transferred to our proponent groups. We continue to monitor and continue this partnership until we achieve the common vision of PRDP in making the change in the lives of farmers and fishermen members in that proponent groups. (Remai S.
