The RPCO 3 I-PLAN spearheaded a training workshop on the mainstreaming of the Provincial Commodity Investment Plan (PCIP) to the Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP) and training in the preparation of  Annual Investment  Plan (AIP) C.Y. 2017 for the agriculture and fishery sector last June 23-24, 2016 at Grace Hotel, Balibago, Angeles, City, Pampanga. The workshop was attended by the Provincial Project Monitoring and Implementing Units (PPMIUs), Local Government Units(LGUs) and Provincial Planning and Development Officers (PPDOs) from Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Bulacan, Aurora, Pampanga and Tarlac.

Experts and specialists from National Economic Development Authority Region III (NEDA 3) served as the resource persons and facilitators for the training that focused on mainstreaming of the PCIP to PDPFP, preparation of the Annual Investment Plan (AIP), and  training on Goal Achievement Matrix (GAM)which are all of great importance in PRDP.

NEDA 3  Assistant Regional Director Greg L. Pineda said, “Since the scope of PDPFP is broader than what the PCIP can do, that’s why we are doing the mainstreaming and the project already withdraws from the provinces or locations where they are implemented,  that’s where the PDPFP is needed”.

“We want to transfer  to the provinces the responsibility of sustaining the strategies and methodologies that were proven to be effective under the PRDP, in order to sustain the projects that has been started by the PRDP ” he continued.
