In preparation for the upcoming 14th World Bank Implementation Support Mission (WBISM) to the Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP), the Regional Project Coordinating Office 3 (RPCO 3) conducted a management meeting for the 2nd quarter of CY 2022. It was held on May 11, 2022 at the DA – Regional Field Office 3 Conference Room.

“We called for this meeting because we want to review what we have accomplished from the 1st quarter of 2022 and to prepare for the upcoming 14th WBISM”, said the Regional Project Director, Dr. Eduardo Lapuz. He also encouraged the staff to participate and share their inputs in order to have a productive meeting.

Meanwhile, RPCO 3 Action Officer Maricel Dullas expressed the need to assess the current position of each component and to determine the tracks needed to attain their targets for this year. She also reminded everyone to provide proactive strategies for their respective tasks and responsibilities.

Representatives from I-PLAN, I-BUILD, I-REAP, and units from the I-SUPPORT component presented their accomplishments from January to April of 2022. They also bared their strategies and activities to be conducted for the rest of the year.

RPCO 3 also welcomed newly hired and appointed staff from different components that is expected to join in its efforts in achieving their goals and objectives.

Dr. Lapuz concluded the meeting by thanking everyone in their active participation and contributions.

The 14th WBISM to the DA-PRDP, which is held bi-annually, will run from May 23 to June 13, 2022 to evaluate the project accomplishments of each region from the first half of the year and to exhibit outstanding subprojects throughout the country. (By: Ram Bill Bautista, RPCO3 InfoACE)
