RPCO 3 calls for plans, strategies for 2022 targets

City of San Fernando, PAMPANGA – The Regional Project Coordination Office 3 of the Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) discussed the plans and strategies during the Coordination Meeting and Planning Workshop for CY 2022 held at the DA Conference Room on February 3, 2022.

RPCO 3 Regional Project Director Eduardo L. Lapuz Jr. led the meeting where he bared that there are critical targets to be accomplished this year since the PRDP is now on its next phase of project implementation under the $280 million Second Additional Financing with EUR18.3 million E.U. Co-financing grant (AF2-EU).

“We called for this meeting to see our deliverables both for the physical and financial targets for 2022. Beginning this year, since this is now under the Additional Financing 2, we should be more determined in accomplishing the targets that are included in our work and financial plan,” Lapuz stressed.

Targets from the I-BUILD, I-REAP, I-PLAN, and I-SUPPORT were discussed respectively where SMART strategies were presented in achieving these tasks.

Meanwhile, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Cristina Domenden briefly discussed the DA- PRDP Individual Performance Evaluation Profile and Accomplishment Reporting System (iPEP-ARS), which is a web-based work management system used to systematically track the productivity of the DA-PRDP staff and to that ensure that the project objectives will be met.

To conclude the meeting, RPCO 3 Action Officer Maricel Dullas thanked the presence of the whole RPCO 3 team for the fruitful discussion and sharing of insights on how the objectives will be achieved and expressed her optimistic view that despite these challenging times, with the support and cooperation of everyone, all the targets set will be realized.
