PSO Visayas Train on Results-Based Monitoring System

The Program Support Office (PSO) Visayas staffs were trained on the use of Result-Based Monitoring and Evaluation (RBME) system as a strategic tool in the in the project implementations of Philippine Rural Development Program (PRDP).

The RBME system training held on March 26 to 28 at West Town Hotel, Mandurriao, Iloilo City was participated by 40 participants from PSO Visayas, Regional Program Coordinating Offices 6, 7 and 8 and PPMIUs from Negros Occidental, Bohol and Southern Leyte.

The training was aimed at introducing and capacitating the interrelated roles and responsibilities of the participants in implementing the RBME system.

Marianne Poblete and Adamar Estrada had briefed and gave the run-through of the PRDP RBME system among participants. Meanwhile, Jourvin Barrera facilitated the hands-on workshop on the operationalization on the Progress M and E Sub-system, the use of Data Capture Forms and report presentation for PSO and regional level.

RBME tool is a practical mechanism to track on a regular basis or at any time should the management need the information about the progress and results of implementation. The report generated by RBME system will be the basis for decision-making and program steering.
