PSO Luzon A Procurement Team conducts post-qualification for Quirino’s P155-M subproject
The procurement team from Quirino, Regional Project Coordination Office 2 (RPCO2) and Project Support Office (PSO) Luzon A held an inspection of equipment last March 3-5 as part of the post-qualification of bids for the multimillion project in the municipality of Cabarroguis, Quirino.
Led by Quirino BAC Chairman Engr. Dencio Pagbilao and BAC Vice-Chairman Engr. Ireneo Binevidez, the team validated various equipment from from New Kanlaon Construction Incorporated, which was determined as the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bidder (LCRB) among the contractors who joined the bidding for the Rehabilitation of NRJ-Gamis-Banuar-Dumabel- Cabugao-Eden Burgos-PRJ Burgos- Gomez-Calaocan Road.
With an estimated cost of P155.031 million, the subproject aims to provide accessibility to three municipalities and eight barangays for transporting people and farm products. With a total length of 19.38 kilometers, the I-BUILD subproject is also expected to sustain the booming coffee industry in the province.
These post qualification will determine the responsiveness of the lowest calculated bidder to the bid requirements on key personnel and minimum equipment.
Geo-tagging, one of the most-widely used tools under the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP), continues to provide efficiency and transparency as it facilitates easy and accurate locations of facilities.
