“Maswerte ang mga mamamayan ninyo dahil lumahok kayo dito sa PRDP. Ang mga proyektong inyong hinarap sa amin ang patunay na ang mga kanayunan ay may mahalagang ambag rin sa pagunlad ng ating rehiyon (Your constituents are lucky because your respective LGUs participated in the PRDP. These proposals are proof that rural areas can also contribute in the agri-fishery development of CALABARZON Region),” PRDP CALABARZON Deputy Project Director Abelardo Bragas said to the local government units (LGU) representatives. He also discussed the succeeding processes the proposals will undergo after the RPAB review and encourage them to be patient and diligent in fulfilling necessary requirements.

In Quezon province, the P74.74 million, 2.18-kilometer “Construction/Concreting of Villa Jesus Este – Pantay Sabang FMR” subproject in the municipality of Agdangan will support the growing industry of cocosugar, macapuno and other high value crops in the town.

Supporting the coconut, banana, and mango farms in the area is the main push for the “Concreting and Improvement of Sto. Niño – Piña FMR” subproject of Taysan, Batangas. It is a P98.19 million, 6.14 km road that will be funded together with the municipal government.

The board also approved the repackaged “Concreting of San Isidro – Canuyep – F. Nañadiego – Matataja – Patabog FMR with bridge component” subproject of Mulanay, Quezon.
