PRDP JOINT ECON, M&E AND INFOACE UNIT COORDINATION MEETING HELD
Pasay City, MANILA – The Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) conducted its Joint Economics, Monitoring & Evaluation (M & E) and Information, Advocacy, Communication and Education (InfoACE) Workshop cum Rapid Appraisal of Emerging Benefits (RAEB) Workshop on December 2-6 held at Selah Pods, this city.
The five-day workshop was attended by officers, representative and staff from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), National Capital Region (NCR), Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley Region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western Visayas Region, Central Visayas Region, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, SOCCSARGEN, Caraga Region and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslin Mindanao (BARMM).
This year’s meeting highlighted how to improve the strategic and effective initiatives in disseminating the impacts and benefits gained from PRDP.
Moreover, adoption of good agricultural governance, tools and processes introduced by PRDP where discussed likewise the furtherance of ‘good practices’ and lessons learned as advocates of PRDP were tackled.
In a brief speech, National Deputy Project Director Shandy Hubilla emphasized the specific task of each unit that plays a significant role in the implementation of subproject in which the PRDP has imparted good example to other partner agencies and local government units.
“You have to ask the question behind the question. There are a lot of good things we can share out there. Let’s sustain the gain we all have made in this project,” Hubilla added.
Also, the group took part in their respective units for a breakout session and workshop to discuss further relative issues and concerns.
The annual meeting was also used as a platform for backing strategy with priority areas for documenting and sharing Good Practice Notes, which involve the participation of M & E, InfoACE and other Component Units to build up communication on good project achievements and strengthening project performance.
