DA Regional Executive Director and PRDP 10 Project Director Carlene C. Collado said, that the joint undertaking is essential to determine if the said projects were implemented according to the standards set forth by the funding institution and were utilized as to its intended purpose.
“This activity will help the agency know the reaped benefits among farmer-beneficiaries, and do corrective measures, should there be any, to fulfill project’s objectives. The results of the monitoring will also serve as our benchmark in the granting of another subproject to a local government unit,” the agri official added.
On the other hand, Regional Technical Coordinator of RPMC-10, Engr. Rosalyn Yparraguirre appreciated the effort of the implementing agency, as the projects accorded to the farmers are eyed to pave way for more economic opportunities thru the provision of access to road networks.
She further remarked, these will also prompt for the development of more lands for agri use, thus contributing to the increase of production and eventually, augment the income of farmers.
Summary of the findings will be forwarded to the agencies’ concerned, which will aid in beefing up project implementation.
Joining the monitoring and evaluation team are the staff from the Provincial Planning and Development Office of MisOcc. #
