A joint team of engineers and technical staff from the national, cluster and regional offices are set to monitor and evaluate some ongoing and completed I-BUILD subprojects in North Luzon from January 13-24, 2020.

Led by NPCO I-BUILD Alternate Head Engr. Ericson Mammag, the thorough evaluation is in preparation for the cluster’s annual general assembly where best implemented subprojects are recognized.

Criteria for the monitoring include physical progress, operation, maintenance and social and environmental aspects.

Under the I-BUILD component, awardees are subdivided into four SP categories — farm-to-market roads, bridges, civil works or vertical structures and irrigation projects.

Results of the evaluation will be announced during the awarding ceremony to be held by the Project Support Office North Luzon on January 29 in Angeles City, Pampanga.

The general assembly is an annual gathering of PRDP North Luzon personnel that aims to recognize the hard work and efforts of local government units and all implementing offices. Aside from I-BUILD, awards and recognitions are also given to proponents with outstanding implementation under I-REAP, I-PLAN and I-SUPPORT units. (Kayla Arceo, InfoACE North Luzon)
