PRDP builds 15.031 kilometer farm-to-market road in Bataan
Bagac, Bataan – Residents of the municipality of Bagac will soon experience fast transportation and delivery of agricultural products from farm to the market upon the completion of the 15.031 kilometer San Antonio – Parang – Saysain farm-to-market road (FMR), here.
According to Rural Infrastructure Engineer (RIE) Romel Garcia Tiangco, the P172-million FMR will be completed on September 3 of this year.
The hundred million FMR is jointly implemented by the World Bank through the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP), the Government of the Philippines (GOP) and the provincial government of Bataan.
Furthermore, PRDP I-BUILD continues to fast-track the completion of the remaining construction as this will provide basic access to social services to the residents but will also allow inclusive growth in the rural areas.
The said construction of FMR amounted to a total of P172,874,866.02.
