P172-M PRDP I-BUILD SUBPROJECT NEARS COMPLETION
Bagac, BATAAN – The P172 million farm-to market road (FMR) project is nearing its completion of its 15.031-kilometer San Antonio – Parang – Saysain road, here.
According to I-BUILD Rural Infrastructure Engineer Romel G. Tiangco, the FMR has attained 95% on its physical accomplishment which is deemed ‘substantially completed’ and will soon be open to the public before the end of 2019.
Moreover, the Project Support Office (PSO) together with the Regional Project Coordination Office (RPCO 3), Provincial Project Management Implementing Unit (PPMIU) of Bataan and 4B Construction Corporation jointly conducted a Prefinal Inspection and Punchlisting of the FMR from November 26-29, 2019.
This subproject is a dream come true for farmers who relies on agriculture as livelihood adding that the FMR will as well benefit those from the next generations.
Upon its completion, residents specifically farmer-beneficiaries will enjoy faster mobility and delivery of agricultural products to the nearest markets.
The road improvement strengthens services in Bataan not limited to providing access to basic social services but allowing inclusive growth in the rural areas.
