NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BID
Simplified Bidding – Goods

Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Silo System for SIDC Grains Terminal and Trading Project.

Solicitation No.: PRDP-IR-R04A-BTG-007-000-000-2022-R1

1. The Government of the Republic of the Philippines has received a loan from the World Bank towards the cost of the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) and intend to apply part of the proceed of this loan for the payment for the cost of this contract: Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Silo System for SIDC Grains Terminal and Trading Project.

2. The Sorosoro Ibaba Development Cooperative hereinafter referred to as the Proponent Group (PG), now requested interested applicants to submit quotation for the:

4. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope through hand-carried or mailed to the PG official address below:

5. All entries must be typewritten or hand-written legibly. Bid Forms shall be submitted together with following documents:

a) Valid business permit;

b) BIR registration

c)Copy of one completed contract similar to the contract being procured equivalent to 50% of the Estimated Project Cost (EPC) in the last five years; and

d)  Product brochure (if required by the end-user)

6. Quotations must be submitted on or before 11:00am of May 22, 2024.

7. A pre-bidding conference shall be conducted at 11:00am on May 17, 2024 at the Board Room 4th floor, SIDC VEB Building, Purok 2, Brgy. Sorosoro Ibaba, Batangas City, where interested suppliers may join.

8. The procurement procedures will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the World Bank Procurement Guidelines and taking into consideration the related provisions in the Project Loan Agreement and Guidelines in the Procurement under the IBRD loans and IDA credits.

9. The Sorosoro Ibaba Development Cooperative reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and to annul the procurement process or reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder/s.
