Monitoring team visits project in Dinagat

As part of continuous monitoring of subprojects, the IBUILD team of PSO Mindanao and RPCO 13 visited the on-going implementation of R. Ecleo – Upper Laguna Farm to Market Road subproject in Municipality of Cagdianao, Dinagat Island on February 11-12, 2020.

This project is worth P108,299,341.39 million and will benefit the 3,947 beneficiaries or 794 households.

The R.E. Ecleo – Upper Laguna farm-to-market road is a 3.62 km. road that begins at the junction of the national road located at Purok 5, Barangay R.E. Ecleo. It traverses the five barangays which include R.Ecleo, Ma-atas, Laguna, Santa Rita, and Nueva Estrella.

This FMR will link to the national road were the proposed buying station and processing center are connected. It is in support to the proposed integrated cassava processing facility to be established by the A&M Multipurpose at Bgry. Luna, San Jose, Dinagat Islands.

Aside from the FMR, they also visited the construction of warehouse and multi-purpose drying pavement for the cassava granules processing marketing which is an infrastructure component of Cassava Granules Processing and Marketing IREAP subproject worth 2,933,021.84.

The monitoring team is headed by PSO Mindanao I-BUILD Head Engr. Ma. Fe P. Gabunales with Engr. Amelito F. Poncardas, Engr. Rhidge Berdera, Engr. Ronald Galano, ME associate of RPCO 13 Mirasol C. Timosa, and RIES of RPCO 13.

Currently, Dinagat Island is implementing one (1) IBUILD Subproject worth P108.30 million and three (3) enterprise subprojects for Input Provision for Cardava Production and Cardava Marketing worth P3.14 million without the PG equity; Cassava Granules Processing and Marketing worth P8.10 million; and Input Provision/Support for Seaweeds Production, Processing and Marketing worth P2.51 million or a total of P13.75 million.
