The DA-Philippine Rural Development Program (DA-PRDP) National Program Coordination Office (NPCO)  soft launched on February 27, 2014 its official website as an output of the three-day workshop on Website Management held in Camelot Hotel, Quezon City.

PRDP Deputy Program Director Arnel de Mesa said in his message during the opening program that the said training is one of the priority activities of NPCO for the year. Thus, he urged the participants to be focused and attentive during the workshop so they can efficiently utilize and manage the website as an information tool and transparency mechanism on government’s projects under PRDP.

Moreover, Mr. Samuel Belamide, Geomapping and Governance Unit Head briefed the participants regarding the features of the website. He also reminded the web administrators from the NPCO, Program Support Offices and Regional PCOs of their accountability in posting information on the website.

Breakout sessions were conducted on the second day of the workshop, wherein the participants were divided into three groups including: InfoACE, Procurement and Monitoring & Evaluation, and E-VSA and Geomapping.

Each group was assigned with specific assignments depending on information they will post and manage in the website. ### (CCS/CNN, NPCO-InfoACE)
