A coffee postharvest and storage facility worth P12 million will soon rise as part of the Green Coffee Beans Processing and Marketing Enterprise project of the Tibolo Farm Workers Association (TIFWA) in the municipality of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

To jump start the project, the RPCO XI conducted a pre-construction conference participated by the PPMIU, the contractor and the farmer beneficiaries.
During the conference, the RPCO team reminded them of their respective responsibilities while implementing the coffee processing and marketing enterprise project for the Bagobo community at the foothills of Mt. Apo.
All the requirements and necessary documents that the contractor needs to comply with were presented by the team such as geotagging outputs and social environmental safeguards, as well the financial aspect of the project.

Aside from the warehouse with postharvest and storage facilities for coffee, TIFWA will also receive transportation equipment and additional financing capital for their coffee marketing enterprise project from PRDP. In total, the project costs P18.4 million.(JANELLE T. FLORES, RPCO 11)
