RPCO3 I-REAP Component finalizes enterprise business plans for NOL1 issuance
The I-REAP Component of the Regional Project Coordination Office 3 gathered the provincial project monitoring and implementing units (PPMIUs) and the proponent groups of Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Tarlac and Zambales last September 23-24 in San Fernando City, Pampanga to conduct a finalization of Regional Project Advisory Board-approved enterprise subproject business plans.
William Valdez, I-REAP Component Head, said that the activity was done in order to comply with the comments and suggestions of the National Project Coordination Office (NPCO) and the Project Support Office (PSO) regarding the business plans given during the Joint Technical Review held in Davao last August 3-7. “We gathered all the concerned PPMIUs and proponent groups in order to revise and finalize their business plans, which are now waiting for the issuance of No Objection Letter 1 (NOL1),” said Mr. Valdez. “As output of the activity, the PPMIUs and proponent groups presented their revised business plans with complete attachments.”
During the activity, the I-REAP staff facilitated the revision and compliance based on the comments regarding the financial statements, the environmental and social safeguards, and the plan write-up. The revised business plans, which will be submitted to the PSO and NPCO for NOL1 issuance, are as follows: Establishment of Ice Plant with Cold Storage (Bataan), Sto. Domingo Onion Enterprise (Nueva Ecija), Onion Farm Mechanization Service Facility Enterprise (Nueva Ecija), Provision of Custom Services and Establishment of Processing Center with Storage Facility for Sweet Potato (Tarlac), Establishment of Processing Facilities for Coir and Coir Byproducts (Aurora), Establishment of Mango Trading Station in Iba, Zambales and the Establishment of Mango Trading Station in Sta.
