Emerging Benefits of Rubber Subproject Assess Through RAEB

DA-PRDP Caraga’s Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) unit spearheaded a rapid appraisal of the emerging benefits of a completed rubber production and marketing subproject implemented by the KM7 Farmers Producer Cooperative (KFPC) in Barangay Tungao, Butuan City.

The RAEB, held from January 29 – February 2, aims to capture and document the socioeconomic benefits gained by the beneficiaries from the completed enterprise subproject. To gauge this, the RAEB team conducted household surveys, focus group discussions, spot interviews, and farm profiling and geotagging.

Deputy Project Director Jodel A. Tabada highlighted the intangible benefits felt by the community every day, especially the subproject’s facilitation of increased peace and order in Barangay Tungao.

Turned over in June 2020, the ‘Integrated Rubber Production and Marketing’ subproject was implemented to address constraints in the production, input supply, and processing of rubber crumb in Butuan City.
