In recognition of the exemplary performance of the Regional Project Coordination Offices (RPCO) and the commendable delivery of service of staff throughout the cluster in 2021, the Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) Project Support Office (PSO) North Luzon held a Cluster Awarding Ceremony at the Subic Bay Travelers Hotel, Olongapo City, Zambales, on March 10, 2022.

During the ceremony, the RPCO Cagayan Valley received the most of recognitions, with a total of 11 awards under the I-PLAN, I-REAP, I-BUILD Components, and two (2) special awards, including the Best in Safeguards Compliance (FMR category), and Most Efficient Finance Analyst (Individual Category) in 2021.

RPCO Ilocos followed with 10 awards and three (3) special awards, including the Best in Safeguards Compliance (Other Infra category), Municipal Local Government Unit (MLGU) with the Most Number of Bidders, and Most Efficient Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) staff.

Meanwhile, RPCO CAR and RPCO Central Luzon garnered two (2) awards each.

In her speech, PSO North Luzon Deputy Project Director Elma S. Mananes mentioned that the annual ceremony was held in recognition for the hard work, commitment, and excellent performance of the DA-PRDP manpower that paved the way in producing notable accomplishments throughout the cluster.

“This annual event is intended to recognize the exceptional work and accomplishments of the implementing offices, partner LGUs, subprojects and individuals for their effort in achieving the goals and objectives of the Project,” Director Mananes said.

Director Mananes also added that she hopes that the awards received by the RPCOs serve as an inspiration for everyone to continually exert their best effort to attain excellence under the DA-PRDP.

• Top Performing Region in terms of I-BUILD Cumulative Liquidation Rate (OL+AF1) in the cluster
• Subproject with the highest positive variance (114 days ahead of its target completion date) upon completion in 2021

• Most efficient region in terms of I-BUILD disbursement based on the Target Vs Actual Disbursement of OL for the year 2021
• Subproject with the 2^nd highest positive variance (83 days ahead of its target completion date) upon completion in 2021 – Rehabilitation of Baluarte-Sinili Farm to Market Road (Santiago City)
