Palayan City, NUEVA ECIJA – The technical team of the Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) convened on February 3-4, 2022 to review the business plan including all attachments and documentary requirements of the proposed cold storage set to be constructed here.

Officers from the Regional Project Coordination Office (RPCO 3), Project Support Office (PSO) North Luzon, and the National Project Coordination Office (NPCO) led the two-day activity, tasked to thoroughly assess the viability of the proposed project and ensure the submission of necessary documents.

The team also focused on assessing whether the cooperative confirmed the guidelines of the project.

Concerns from the members of the Katipunan ng mga Samahang Magsisibuyas ng Nueva Ecija (KASAMNE) cooperative that pertains to the proposed facility were tackled and all the policies that need to be imposed were identified.

Remarks and recommendations of the technical team are to be integrated into the business plan.
