RPAB 3 approves infrastructure development projects
The 1st Regional Project Advisory Board Meeting on the Approval of Infrastructure Development Subprojects for 2018 was held in Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Conference Room, Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The board headed by the RPCO3 Focal Person RTD Crispulo G. Bautista Jr. The chairman of the board Engr. Roy M. Abaya, Regional Executive Director of DA RFO3 was unable to preside the meeting due to an important engagement.
Members of the board were; RAFC Chairman Engr. Francisco A. Hernandez, ARD of DAR Ramon Estanislao III, Rep. of DILG Darryl Salvador, Rep. of DENR Vilma Garcia, Rep. of DPWH Ma. Janet Nero.
RPCO3 I-SUPPORT Component Head Gil G. David gave updates regarding the ongoing Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) before the meeting officially started.
Four (4) infrastructure development subprojects were presented to the board namely; Construction of Cold Storage Facility in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija; Construction of Solar Tunnel Dryer in Mariveles, Bataan; Improvement of Sumandig – Bubulong Malake Farm to Market Road in San Ildefonso, Bulacan; and Improvement of Amungan – Bangantalinga – Dirita – San Agustin – Sta. Barbara Farm to Market Road in Iba, Zambales.
Tense anticipation was felt by the proponent Local Government Units (LGU) as the board discussed and scrutinized each presentation.
