11 DA-PRDP proponent groups underwent training on Enterprise Operations Manual development

To achieve more stable and sustainable enterprises, Some 11 proponent groups that manage enterprise subprojects through the Department of Agriculture  – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) joined training on Enterprise Operations Manual Development.

Led by the DA-PRDP Regional Project Coordination Office (RPCO) CALABARZON, the training on Enterprise Operations Manual aims to strengthen the implementation of systems, processes, policies, and standards set by the proponent groups in running and managing their enterprise. Through the EOM, proponent groups can achieve consistency in the quality of products/services they offer and further the growth and development of their enterprise. 

The proponent groups that joined the training were the Mangosteen Producers of Tayabas Association (MAPROTAS), Tayabas Federation of Rural Improvement Club (RIC), Gumaca Mango Growers’ Association, Cacao Growers Association of Lopez (CGAL), Samahang Magsasaka ng Barangay Nieva, Inc., Samahan ng Mangingisda ng Malapat, Lubayat, at Pandan (SAMAMALUPA), Samahan ng Mangingisda at Magse-seaweeds ng Villa San Isidro, Palcon Dairy Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Quezon Federation and Union of Cooperatives (QFUC), San Francisco Banana Producers Association, and the Juan Santiago Agriculture Cooperative (JSACOOP). Most of these groups are managing DA-PRDP enterprises focused on the production and processing of agricultural products. #

CALABARZON DA-PRDP I-REAP Component Head Editha Salvosa gave words of
encouragement to the participating proponent groups in developing and
implementing their Enterprise Operations Manual toward the continuous growth and
