Good Life Gets Better as New Road Enters

The Dolipos Alto – Dullan Norte FMR has a total length of 4.83 kilometers that will start at barangay Dolipos Alto until the boundary of Dullan Norte and Dullan Sur in Oroquieta City. This FMR is under the additional financing which aim to upgrade the substandard roads for safe and economical access that is supportive to agricultural production and uplifts living condition of the community.

This project worth P55.43 million is expected to benefit 3,397 individual beneficiaries or 755 households.

It’s specific objectives include upgrading the substandard roads for safe and economical access that is supportive to agricultural production and uplifts living condition of the community. Specifically, the subproject aims to:

• Reduce hauling cost of all commodities from Php 50/sack to P40/sack
• Reduce hauling cost of farm inputs from Php 50/sack to P40/sack
• Reduce travel time by 50% from 40 minutes without the project to 20 minutes with the project.
• Increase the number of vehicle traversing the road by at least 1.5% annually
• Reduce transportation losses of banana, cassava, corn by 5%-2% copra, cacao, abaca, rubber by 3% to 1%
• To expand production area by 70 hectares for banana and 50 hectares for coconut.
