One of the best practices of the Department of Agriculture- Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) is its constant monitoring and inspection of its projects which help ensure the quality and success of the project.

For the month of August, the DA-PRDP Regional Project Coordination Office Caraga conducted monitoring activities to its subprojects in the Province of Dinagat Island and Butuan City.

On-going Construction of Warehouse and Multi-Purpose Drying Pavement in Dinagat.

The team together with the City Project Management Implement Unit (CPMIU) had a joint inspection of the on-going Construction of Integrated Rubber Production and Marketing in Km.7 Tungao, Butuan City amounting to P8.69 million for its infrastructure component with an overall project cost of P22.46 million. The construction of Nursery Seedling Production Facility, Nursery Seed Bed and Consolidation Warehouse is already 45% completed and would benefit 158 farming households.

They also monitored the on-going Construction of Warehouse and Multi-Purpose Drying Pavement for the Cassava Granules Processing and Marketing in Brgy. Cayetano, Municipality of Dinagat, Province of Dinagat Islands. The said construction worth P2.93 million is part of the P10 million overall subproject cost that would benefit the 1,069 member beneficiaries.
