PRE-CON OF P55-M DOLORES BRIDGE IN NUEVA ECIJA HELD

Sto. Domingo, NUEVA ECIJA – The Regional Project Coordination Office (RPCO 3) and the Project Support Office (PSO) of the Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) spearheaded the pre-construction (pre-con) conference of the P55 million Dolores Bridge on February 11, 2020, here.

RPCO 3 Action Officer Gil G. David together with I-BUILD Component Head Engr. Abraham Molina, Rural Infrastructure Engineer Lester Bacual, Project Development Associate Roel Yadao, Provincial Project Management and Implementing Unit (PPMIU) of Nueva Ecija preceded the precon.

Joining the precon are the local government officials of Sto. Domingo and representatives from the Barangays of Hulo, Malaya and Dolores.

According to Engr. Bacual the precon is intended as soon as the project was awarded to the contractor to review contact requirements, construction details, work schedules and any specific details to the project.

He also stressed that it is important to convene the project beneficiaries and implementers that are responsible for the completion of the project whether directly or indirectly involve to ensure that the execution of the subproject is accomplished accordingly.

“The existing 36.0 linear meter single-lane bridge will be replaced by a 60.80 linear meter two-lane bridge while embankment and slope protection were incorporated to the subproject,” Engr. Bacual added.
