PRDP-funded Cagayan bridges now 100% completed

“The three (3) bridges of Namabbalan Norte-Baliuag-Bical-Cabbo farm-to-market road (FMR) funded under the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) is already 100% completed. The I-REAP structures composed of two farmhouses, a silo, milking parlor, display center, processing center, and animal shed are also 100% complete,” Engr. Edmund Bert Banzali, Roads and Bridges Specialist said as the Joint Inspectorate Team (JIT) he led made its inspection in Cagayan Valley.

The bridges (package 2) amount to 14.8 million pesos.

Likewise, Namabbalan-Cabbo FMR which spans 17.4 kilometers amounting to 183 million pesos has registered 95% actual physical accomplishment and it is now substantially complete.

The civil works of Cagayan Dairy Enterprise, proposed by Cagayan Integrated Farmers Cooperative (IFC) amounts to 9.6 million pesos.

Namabbalan-Cabbo is the third FMR which has been implemented in Cagayan Province. Alcala East is on-going rehabilitation while Iraga-Bayabat FMR has earlier been turned over to the beneficiaries. These FMR’s support dairy commodity.

Cagayan Province has more than 600 million pesos-worth of PRDP funded I-BUILD subprojects.
