Local Government Units are now availing themselves of  funding from various agencies utilizing the Provincial Commodity Investment Plans (PCIP).

LGUs have adopted the commodity investment plans and now almost 90% of all Mindanao CIPs have generated new investments from various agencies that will help in boosting the agriculture sector.

A total of P31 billion worth of investment have been made available for various interventions from the combined PRDP and Non-PRDP fund sources.

The PRDP approved investment is amounting to P8.46 billion or 27% of the total funds and P22.56 billion or 73% from Non-PRDP.

Twelve  agencies have invested funds for interventions which they based in the community investment plans across the six region of Mindanao including Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Interior and Local government (DILG), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of Agriculture (under banner programs), and Office of the President.
